Running Skipton parkrun & Yarndale! A special week to run Skipton parkrun - the park was Yarnbombed!

I'd not run Skipton parkrun since their inaugural event in 2013. They changed the course not long after the event started and ever since then I've been meaning to return! Roll forward 8 years and I finally got around to returning! The park has been transformed, with so many new facilities that it was almost unrecognisable. The new course is just over 4 laps, all on tarmac, with an awesome out-and-back section (which will be perfect for high-5s as soon as we're allowed them post-covid!). We were lucky to visit Skipton parkrun the same week as Yarndale! A celebration of yarn! The yarn bombs in the park were so fun to look at while running parkrun and made it so colourful! If you visit then make sure you play on the adventure playground... it's awesome! Happy running, Nicola :)
