Bhoiwada neighbourhood is situated between Parel and Naigaon.This particular video is of neighbourhood of Bhoiwada around Jerbai Wadia Road.The journey starts from The Bhimwada where we can see demolished hutments for redevelopment.Then the SRA buildings series where we see the redeloped slums replaced by tall buildings.We go inside the street and see few former Ganpati pandals.The Bhoiwada cha vignaharta is on its way to visarjan. We watch how police arrangement manages the departure procession,delicately navigating the huge crowd of densely populated areas,traffic and the leap of faith of the populace.Women can be seen literally folding their hand in reverence to the departing God.The journey continues and we come to a trijunction where the road meets the mono rail track.The buildings around are a mix of old and new buildings.The journey ends near Police Govt Quarters.
