Making Rice pudding at shed of the Highlands of the Rukum East.

In the villages of the mid-western part of the Nepal. Mostly, herdsmen migrate their cattles to the high altitudes from villages for grazing and to avoid summer. Where, they usually stay around months. Girls of the villages come to the shed to make rice pudding by carrying some presents like local alcohol, homemade breads , green vegetables etc. In return herdsmen give dairy items without any cost. नेपालको मध्य-पश्चिमी भागका गाउँहरूमा। प्रायः गोठालाहरूले गर्मीबाट बच्न र चरनका लागि गाउँहरूबाट उच्च उचाइमा आफ्ना गाईवस्तुहरू सार्छन्। जहाँ तिनीहरू सामान्यतया महिनौंसम्म बस्छन्। गाउँका केटीहरू स्थानीय मदिरा, घरमै बनाएको रोटी, हरियो तरकारी आदि जस्ता उपहारहरू बोकेर चामलको हलवा बनाउन गोठमा आउँछन्। बदलामा गोठालाहरूले कुनै पनि मूल्य बिना दुग्धजन्य वस्तुहरू दिन्छन्।
