Dan Levy’s Big Mistakes Premiere at TIFF Lightbox | Cast Q&A + First Look

Big Mistakes; the new Netflix comedy series from Dan Levy and Rachel Sennott premieres April 9th, 2026! I attended a special sneak peek screening of the first two episodes, followed by a live Q&A hosted by Cameron Bailey (whom I love) with cast members Taylor Ortega, Jack Innanen, and Elizabeth Perkins. Honestly? I LOVED the first two episodes and I’m so excited to see the rest. I felt the love from the whole room too. Everyone I chatted with after was obsessed with the concept and gripped by the plot. And I have to say - Taylor Ortega is a STAR! There was not a single line she delivered that didn’t get a laugh from the crowd. Absolute scene-stealer. Laurie Metcalf wasn’t in Toronto, but her presence was definitely felt since she is Perfectly cast as Levy’s high stress low sense mom. And Levy teased that Elizabeth Perkins will play her foil in upcoming episodes which I truly cannot wait to see unfold. I am a Weeds fan of course, and also she will also be Wilma to me. Also: Elizabeth Perkins fangirling over Dan Levy during the Q&A was everything. It feels like this is just the beginning of a long-term creative collaboration between these two icons! #BigMistakes #DanLevy #TIFF #TIFFLightbox #NetflixCanada #TorontoEvents #TVPremiere #NewOnNetflix #ComedySeries #CanadianMedia #PopCulture #FilmAndTV #EntertainmentNews #SarahHanlon #RedCarpet #TIFFEvents #TVLaunch #BehindTheScenes #CastQA
