Two Men, Lead Masks, and a Note That Said "Await Signal" | The 1966 Lead Masks Case

In August 1966, two electronics technicians climbed a hill outside Niterói, Brazil — and never came down. When their bodies were found, each man wore a formal suit, a waterproof raincoat, and a mask cut from solid lead over his eyes. Beside them lay a notebook with a cryptic set of instructions: be at the agreed place, ingest capsules, protect the metals, await signal, mask. No trauma. No struggle. No poison ever found. The cause of death was never determined. All key facts are drawn from the documented public record; where the record ends, the film says so. Theories discussed — including the scientific-spiritualist account, the UFO-contact interpretation, and foul-play speculation — are presented as theories, never as established fact. No one was ever charged, and the cause of death was never determined. Certain scenes are AI-generated dramatized reconstructions of documented events. They are illustrations, not real footage. Out of respect for the deceased, this film never depicts the bodies, and contains no graphic imagery. #TrueCrime #ColdCase #UnsolvedMystery #Brazil
