Why did the Oracle tell Neo he wasn't the One?

Why did the Oracle tell Neo he wasn’t the One if she already knew what he could become? This Matrix analysis explains the real meaning behind the Oracle’s first conversation with Neo, why she deliberately lets him doubt himself, and how that pushes him toward the choices that finally awaken his abilities as the One. We also explore Trinity’s prophecy, Neo’s death and resurrection, the previous Ones, the Architect’s control system, and how the Oracle’s manipulation of choice ultimately helps Neo break the cycle. She didn’t simply tell Neo the future. She told him what he needed to hear to discover it for himself. #TheMatrix #Neo #TheOracle
