Episode 85 | Apostle Sandile Cele, Joyous Celebration, Serving at church, Business and the calling

From Joyous Celebration to Ministry: The Journey of Sandile Cele On this episode of the Gospel Reality Podcast, we sit down with Minister Sandile Cele, a gifted musician originally from Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, whose life journey is a powerful testimony of redemption, purpose, and unwavering faith. Having been part of the renowned gospel movement Joyous Celebration, Sandile shares the story behind his musical calling and the highs and lows that shaped his life. In an honest and emotional conversation, he opens up about one of the darkest seasons he has ever faced—a battle with depression that nearly claimed his life. Personal struggles, including challenges in his marriage and the pressures of life, led him down a path of alcohol abuse, leaving him feeling hopeless and disconnected from his purpose. However, God's grace met him in his lowest moments. Sandile made the life-changing decision to turn away from his destructive lifestyle and fully embrace the calling God had placed on his life. His journey of restoration was not without sacrifice. There were seasons of testing, uncertainty, and days when he had nothing in his pocket, yet he remained faithful to God's assignment. Today, Sandile Cele is not only a full-time gospel musician but also a successful entrepreneur in the health and wellness industry, where he sells nutritional supplements. He candidly shares that, financially, business has brought him greater success than music ever did. Nevertheless, he remains committed to releasing gospel music because, as he beautifully puts it, "I didn't choose music; the gift of music chose me." Together with his wife, Sandile now leads Ark Worship International Church in Kempton Park, where they continue to impact lives through ministry, worship, and the preaching of the Gospel. This episode is a powerful reminder that purpose often emerges through pain, and that God's grace can restore anyone willing to surrender their life to Him. Watch, share, and be inspired by a story of resilience, restoration, and the power of God's calling. #apostle #joyouscelebration #gospel #gospelmusic #gospelmessage #sandilecele #thegospelrealitypodcast #thegrppodcast #ngo
