Synth Delay part is only there to emulate the effect on the synthesizer part. The electric guitar part doesn't have much to it. In my group, in which we don't have a keyboard player, I have the guitar player play the synth part except when there is an electric guitar part. This actually works out really well since the synth parts tend to get blended deep into the mix whenever electric guitar is playing anyway. So try this option if you are short on players. The acoustic guitar part always gets blended really deep into the mix, so much so that I could even say it's not very important and you probably don't need it if you are short on players.
