Scrapping KHI C151 (First Generation) | 1987 - 2026

This has been our first generation of the train in Singapore known as the Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI C151). Started it's service since 1987 when it was first launched on the North-South Line that serves for commuters between (NS 15) Yio Chu Kang and (NS 19) Toa Payoh. After 38 years, it was then retired in 2025 and fast forward to a year later in 2026, we are seeing this video of 2 carriages from 015 somewhat from the middle of the train has gone in for a scrap. Now we wouldn't know what's going to happen for the front carriage will it be preserved for something else? Will have to find out in a few months later
