Ariane Santos had an accelerated life between work and studies, as well as her routine. But when her grandmother had a health problem, she promised herself to stay home to take care of the only person who was always by her side. When her grandmother died, Ariane reconnected to a hobby she had when she was in university: handmade bookbinding. With just 30BRL to start over, she has transformed her work into Badu Design: a social business that promotes socio-environmental impact through sustainable design, income generation and empowerment of women.
