Oasis Location: Berlin, Germany Venue: Huxley’s Date: 14th January 1996 Source: Audience Recording After Liam’s rough voice in Utrecht, the next show in Munich was rescheduled for later on in the tour, so with three days rest the band continued with the following show in Berlin at Huxley’s, a venue which consisted of two concert halls, i’m not sure if Oasis played the bigger or smaller one as both sizes seem reasonable for them to play. This show was also one of the gigs scheduled back in November before plans changed. Though still quite a short gig, the lads still pack in a great and tight performance, with Noel performing well on Supersonic and Champagne Supernova in particular. Alan also delivers on the latter too. Liam performs better tonight than Utrecht for sure, getting through the entire show without too much problems though he lets Noel take over on the ending to Live Forever, probably because he feels his voice isn’t at it’s best still. Noel performs Talk Tonight as part of his acoustic set tonight, and though it isn’t the tightest rendition (neither is Whatever) the crowd do appreciate it, after it being requested. He lets the audience take over on the ending to Wonderwall, similarly to Utrecht. Shakermaker is also here too, after not being played at the previous few gigs too. A decent show, a far more enjoyable listen than the previous one that’s for sure.
