Good news for the people of Gujarat: the Narmada Dam is just one meter away from overflowing. The water level of the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam has risen due to increased inflow from upstream areas. The inflow from upstream stands at 75,240 cusecs. Currently, the dam's water level is at 137.68 meters, marking a rise of 24 cm in the last 24 hours. With the maximum water level set at 138.68 meters, the dam is only one meter away from reaching its peak capacity.
