Opened in 1989, Franklin Mills became a massive regional shopping destination and attracted an estimated 18 million visitors in 2006. It became Philadelphia Mills in 2014 and was renamed Franklin Mall in late 2024—but to many people throughout Philadelphia and Bucks County, it will always be Franklin Mills.
