Walking the Beaches of New Zealand 🇳🇿 | Mount Maunganui & Moturiki Island

Join us for a beautiful day exploring Mount Maunganui Main Beach and Moturiki Island in New Zealand! 🇳🇿 There's something special about discovering beautiful beaches, feeling the sand between your toes, and taking the time to explore somewhere new. This was one of those days! We started our day walking along the beautiful shoreline of Mount Maunganui Main Beach, also known as Maunganui Beach Cove. With the sun shining, we enjoyed walking through the sand and splashing in the ocean. I brought along my Insta360 X5 to capture some close-up shots of the beach, waves, and beautiful coastal scenery. After enjoying the beach, we headed over to Moturiki Island, a beautiful place that's definitely worth exploring if you're visiting the area. We climbed up the island and were rewarded with some incredible views of the surrounding coastline. At the top, we discovered a lovely grassy area that would be perfect for a picnic while enjoying the scenery. We also stopped to watch around 10 surfers catching waves along the coastline. It's easy to see why this is such a popular place for beach lovers and surfers! We love discovering beautiful beaches, exploring new places, and collecting memories along the way. This was another reminder of why we chose a life filled with experiences and adventure. A little about Moturiki Island: Moturiki Island is a small island connected to Mount Maunganui Main Beach by a natural sandy walkway.
