The horizontal 4 track cassette machines were easy to do this with but the technique can be applied to most. This tutorial demonstrates the process of using a small piece of tin foil to disable the erase head of your cassette tape recorder to allow gapless Sound on Sound recording of tape loops. The cassette 4 track pictured is the Tascam Porta02 mkII.
