THE ONES WHO STOOD THE LINE This song is personal to me. Military service has been part of my family for generations. My grandfather fought on the island of Saipan during World War II, my father served in Vietnam. I am a veteran myself, and my brother continues to serve in the U.S. Army as a Colonel. I wanted to create a song that honors not only my own family, but all those who have worn the uniform — those who came home, those who never made the journey home, those still serving today, and the families who waited and sacrificed alongside them.
