Barnside Chat- 14 Days of Barn Drama

It’s been two weeks since our last Barnside Chat, and there’s a lot happening at Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary. This week, we catch up with Winston, Noah, Lambert, Sophia and Eleanor. Winston is making incredible progress in his recovery and may have discovered his very first belly rub. Lambert has officially lost his remaining horn, Noah is growing fast, Sophia is receiving some extra senior care, and Eleanor surprised us with an impressive weigh-in. Around the sanctuary, fall is arriving and winter preparation has already begun. We’re welcoming new volunteers, preparing for routine veterinary vaccinations, dealing with medication and rabies vaccine shortages, and looking ahead at our 2027 budget, upcoming projects and five-year sanctuary plan. We also officially launched the HEEFS No-Auction Auction, the fundraiser where you bid on absolutely nothing to help fund absolutely everything. We’ll show you how it works and get ready for the LIVE No-Auction Auction finale this Sunday at 7 PM. Barnside Chat is our regular behind-the-scenes look at life at Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary in Ontario, Canada. We share the stories of rescued farmed animals, sanctuary care, veterinary updates, projects, fundraising, and the everyday work of giving animals a safe place to call home. 🐷 No-Auction Auction LIVE: Sunday Sept 20 2026 at 7 PM 🐮 Next sanctuary tour: Sunday, September 27 2026 at 1 PM Thank you for believing in the world Esther helped show us, one where kindness reaches farmed animals too. #BarnsideChat #HappilyEverEsther #FarmSanctuary #AnimalSanctuary #AnimalRescue #RescuedAnimals #FarmedAnimalSanctuary #PigSanctuary #SanctuaryLife #AnimalCare #VeganSanctuary #Ontario #tours #cambridgeontario
