I'm Jérémy from Belgium (I train at Via Bruxellensis HEMA club in Bruxelles) This is a short text and video review of Superior Fencing Clamshell gloves (the latest version of the 1.0 version. They have a 2.0 version now wich is slightly different) If you don't have time to watch the video, here is my review in short : The gloves are really good for the price Protection is good and better than the old SPES heavies imo (got added thumb protection on the side inside the gloves). Most areas are perfectly protected. The gloves are really confortable to wear and use Mobility of hand / fingers is decent for heavy gloves. The one area Superior Fencing could improve is the "side" mobility of the thumb because it's really limited. It does not bother me and i can use my longsword just fine but some people might dislike this lack of thumb mobility on the side All in all, i really enjoy taking these gloves out for sparring. http://www.supfen.com/home.html
