Glove making prep 2: Laying out, marking and cutting your leather

This video takes you through the next stage of preparing to sew your gloves; laying out your pattern pieces, marking your leather and cutting out your leather. I also cover how to make sure your leather is the right way round to ensure the stretch runs across the hand and not along it. It is important not to rush this stage and to ensure your leather is cut out smoothly and evenly, with no uneven edges. In next weeks video we will start sewing the gloves together using some clips, tacking and prix stitch.
