Gathering in the Library: In Conversation with Erika Long

In the first episode, Dr. Harris had the privilege of speaking with Erika Long, the editor of the anthology. Erika is a certified school librarian, adjunct lecturer, and founder and consultant at Not Yo Mama’s Librarian, LLC. Her leadership and commitment to librarianship shine through her work in professional associations, including the American Library Association and its divisions. Erika is also a conference speaker, content writer, and creator of educator guides for young people’s literature. She co-authored the “Equity” chapter of Core Values in School Librarianship: Responding with Commitment and Courage (2021).
