Supporters and workers of Mubarak Gul staged a protest at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

Workers and supporters of National Conference MLA Mubarak Gul from Eidgah constituency staged a protest at the party headquarters in Srinagar, expressing anger over his exclusion from the newly expanded Council of Ministers. The protesters said the decision is unjust not only to senior leader Mubarak Gul but also to the people of Eidgah constituency. They said they had remained loyal to the party for years and had been waiting for Gul to be inducted into the Ministry. Expressing disappointment over the decision, the protesters demanded that Mubarak Gul resign from the party and appealed to the NC leadership to reconsider its decision and address their concerns.
