Toompea is a hill in the old town of Tallinn and the place where the city started. At different times, several fortresses have been located there, some parts of the last one are still there. Today, among other things, the most important state institutions of Estonia are located there - the parliament, the government, the office of the chancellor of justice and national audit office.
