Al Ryan Big Band Pennsylvania 65000

A little taste of a glorious Midsummer’s Eve at Eydon Village Hall in Northamptonshire — Saturday 20 June 2026. 🎺🎷 Here we are letting loose with one of the great sounds of the swing era: “Pennsylvania 6-5000” — Jerry Gray’s 1940 classic, forever associated with Glenn Miller and His Orchestra. There’s something rather wonderful about filling a village hall on a summer’s evening with the sound of a big band in full flight. We had a ball — and judging by the atmosphere in the room, I think everyone else did too! Huge thanks to Vern Kukla for capturing the moment. 🎥 Turn it up and enjoy! 🎺 #GlennMiller #Pennsylvania65000 #BigBand #Swing #Jazz #BigBandMusic #SwingMusic #Trumpet #Saxophone #LiveMusic
