At SynthFest France 2024, two scientists (Matthieu and Dominique) from the University of Angers presented the polyUAnalog, an open-source DIY poly analog Synthesizer. The polyUAnalog project is based on the AS3397 synth voice chip that features two analog oscillators, filters, and VCA. Raspberry Pi is used to create the digital aspects, including tuning, envelopes, LFOs, and more. In the SynthFest France 2024 configuration, the polyUAnalog featured a simple design with 10 analog voices, an envelope, and more. You can read and participate in the project via Github.
