He worked with stars like Nandamuri Balakrishna and Kamal Haasan and delivered several iconic films. But there are two major projects in his career that never reached the audience — films planned with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. In this video, we look at the untold story behind ‘Bhooloka Veerudu’, the ambitious fantasy film planned with Chiranjeevi under C. Ashwini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies, and ‘Prince of Peace’, the ambitious international-scale project planned with Pawan Kalyan. ‘Bhooloka Veerudu’ was envisioned as a grand fantasy entertainer with advanced graphics and a larger-than-life concept. The film even began shooting and posters featuring Chiranjeevi and Tabu were released. However, after a couple of schedules, the project was eventually shelved. ‘Prince of Peace’, meanwhile, was an ambitious project inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and writer J.K. Bharavi reportedly spent nearly two years developing the script. The team also explored locations in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jordan and Israel, with plans for an international-scale production. However, the enormous production costs and other challenges prevented the film from entering regular production. What happened to these two dream projects?
