I Bought a 40-Year-Old Honda Magna – The Restoration Begins

This is the beginning of my 1984 Honda VF700 Magna restoration project. This 40+ year old Honda has been sitting around for a while, and it’s time to bring it back to life. In this video I continue with the teardown of the bike, removing parts, working on the wiring and getting everything ready for the restoration and rebuild. I didn't originally start filming this project for YouTube, so some of the earlier work was already done before I started recording. The fuel tank, fenders, seat and carburetors had already been removed, cleaned or worked on. From this point on, I'll be documenting the build as it happens. I'm not a professional mechanic or a professional YouTuber. I'm learning along the way, figuring things out and sharing the process — including the problems, mistakes and things that don't go according to plan. The goal is to turn this old Honda Magna into something I can be proud of, while keeping the spirit of the original bike and adding a few custom touches along the way. This is just the beginning.
