Just Steps Away from Pakistan… Indians Live Here 😳 | Desert Shepherd Life In the heart of the Thar Desert, very close to the India–Pakistan border, I reached another remote settlement… a place from where the border is clearly visible just a short distance away. This journey was different — we rode our bike to a location that is not easy to reach. Sand, silence, and endless desert… and in the middle of it, a life completely dependent on livestock. Here, I witnessed fresh camel milk, and experienced a way of life that may look simple from the outside, but is deeply challenging in reality. There is no electricity, no network, and water reaches here only through tankers. I also spoke to an elderly woman, whose words reflected the true reality of this place — struggle, uncertainty, and the strength to keep going. At this far edge of the desert, life still exists in its rawest form. If you truly want to understand what life feels like so close to the border, make sure to watch this journey till the end.
