🌱 Is it important to restore our natural landscapes by planting trees? If so, what's the best way to go about it? 🌳 In this special two-part conversation, our Founder and Managing Director Yuejia Peng visits My Trees Trust, a non-profit based in Zimbabwe and knowledge partner to hub101.earth, working with local communities and smallholders to plant and maintain indigenous trees on their land: https://mytreestrust.org/ 🧩 Part 1: Yuejia joins Rory Pilossof, Country Manager of My Trees Trust to discuss their mission, vision and goals, and why 'planting the right tree in the right places' is so important. 🔍 You can learn more about the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), Forestry and Land Use, Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and importance of nature and biodiversity from our modules under Carbon Markets & Pricing 101 https://hub101.earth/series/cmp101/ and Nature & Biodiversity 101 https://hub101.earth/series/nbd101/
