sewing a dress in one day

I've been dreaming of a medieval looking/fantasy type of dress for a while and this was the result. Obviously I could have taken things a lot slower and put more detail and planning into it but I was leaving for a festival and I decided I really wanted it done for then. So...this was the result. Plain and simple, but I loved it and I felt like a milkmade running around all summer which was fitting since I started reading 'Tess of the D'urbervilles' around that same time.
