Wrapping ourselves in the sweet winter sun, our journey began from West Dungmari by trawler toward Karamjal. Moving through the rivers carving right through the heart of the Sundarbans, spending beautiful moments with the magical deer, and witnessing the endless canopy of green from the watchtower deep inside the forest—all together made this trip an unearthly experience. As the fading twilight sun played hide-and-seek through the tree branches, and the southern breeze cooled our bodies, the sunset on the river became something truly beyond words.
