The “gut feeling” a supervisor gets walking onto a job — the sense that something is off before they can point at it — isn’t mysticism. It’s the brain flagging a mismatch faster than language can catch up. And the reverse is just as important: once a hazard becomes part of the expected scene, the signal stops firing.
