Soon after, a sudden, massive rain storm completely disrupts our daily routine. With the grandmother away on a long walk searching for food for the family, her daughter—a brave young mother—is left alone at home with our friend to care for two very young toddlers. As the heavy downpour traps them and the ground turns to thick mud, they are left with no food prepared. Watch how they manage to secure the small children inside the traditional grass-roof hut, lighting a small firewood blaze just to keep them warm while they wait out the village storm on empty stomachs, hoping their grandmother returns safely with food.
