This 10-hour 24-minute video shows my full outdoor painting process of Ali vs. Foreman (“Rumble in the Jungle,” 1974), a large-scale black-and-white dot-matrix mural I created in New Haven, Connecticut, in 2020. I completed the mural over approximately one month. It measures 12 × 27 ft (366 × 823 cm) and depicts Muhammad Ali and George Foreman during their historic 1974 World Heavyweight Championship fight. The mural is made from approximately 31,800 individually hand-painted black dots. The video shows my entire process, from preparing the wall, projecting and tracing the image at night, to painting each dot by hand and completing the mural.
