Dr. Samuel Jason Coleman With profound sorrow yet unshakable hope in the resurrection, we announce the passing of The Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Jason Coleman, esteemed Chairman of the National Board of Canada, District Overseer for Eastern Canada, and International Prayer Coordinator of The Triumphant Church of God. Bishop Coleman entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Ajax Pickering Lakeridge Hospital in Ajax, Ontario, at the age of 50, surrounded by the love of his family. Born with a divine calling upon his life, Bishop Coleman accepted the voice of God at age thirteen and began active ministry at eighteen. For thirty‑seven years, he served faithfully in the Lord’s vineyard, and for seventeen of those years he laboured within The Triumphant Church of God, offering distinguished leadership locally, nationally, and internationally. His pastoral assignments across Ontario including Brampton, Scarborough, Kitchener, and most recently Durham were marked by his unwavering commitment to building lives through prayer, discipleship, and the demonstration of Christ’s love. Internationally, Bishop Coleman carried the Gospel across borders as an itinerant speaker. In 2022, he aligned with the Dynamic Ministers International Association (DMIA), serving as Director General of Canada, a member of the College of Bishops, a member of the Board of Regents, and Protocol Adjutant Assistant with the International Council of Pentecostal Bishops. In 2024, he was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s Church, a moment that affirmed the mantle he had carried with humility and excellence for decades. Bishop Coleman championed the conviction that the Word of God must be actively embodied in daily living rather than merely spoken. He lived this truth in every sermon, every prayer gathering, every board meeting, and every pastoral interaction. His ministry was marked by integrity, compassion, and a heart wholly surrendered to God. Bishop Coleman is survived by his beloved wife, Rev. Dr. AnnaMaria Coleman, whom he cherished deeply. Their love and the life they built together will forever remain a treasured part of their family’s memories. He was a most cherished father to Aquiyla (Michael), Ayesha (Martin), Philip, and Nyjelle (Corey). He was the proud and “most loved” Papa to his grandchildren Malikai, Maliha, Caius, Micah, and Mya, each of whom will deeply miss his warmth, wisdom, and joyful presence. He also leaves behind his beloved godchildren Josiah, Jonah, Marcello, Marcio, and A’zaryah, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Bishop Coleman is now reunited with his father Christopher, his sister Sarah, his brother Emmanuel, and many beloved family members who passed before him. He will be dearly missed by his dear mother Evadney, his big brother Paul (Julette), and his niece Fantasia. His memory will be lovingly carried by his extended family, including Auntie Daley, Uncle Austin, Uncle Cecil, Uncle Wallace, Aunty Lois, Uncle P, Aunty Louisa, Aunty Karien, Aunty Milly and Uncle Karl, Aunty Daphne, Aunty Pinky, Aunty Joan, Aunty Blossom, Aunty Claudeen, Uncle Fitz, Aunty Ann, Aunty Etta, Aunty Cislyn, his godmother Verline, his godfather Fitz, and their families, along with his many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends, and neighbours.
