The Farthest Any Human Has Ever Been

In April 2026 four astronauts flew behind the Moon and went farther from home than any human ever has: 406,771 km. Out there they watched the Earth set, sat through a 54-minute eclipse, and saw tiny flashes of rock hitting the Moon.
