Is this the herring season end? Getting lobster, crab & prawn potting bait. Beach boat sea fishing.

Well I self launched this morning to try and get a little more herring for potting bait this summer. I done the usual of putting an anchor in the beach when I launched the boat. I was soon heading to the south, before shooting 11 nets for the start of the flood tide, exactly when we had them two days ago. Would the fish still be there? Would they lift in the tide?
