🇹🇭 ONE DAY IN BANGKOK | Grand Palace, Wat Pho & Wat Arun | Travel Cost, Food & Transportation ✈️
Welcome to our one-day Bangkok adventure! 🇹🇭✨
We visited Bangkok during a layover on our journey from India to Japan. Since we had only one day to explore, we decided to visit three of Bangkok’s most iconic temples — the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.
In this vlog, we explore the beautiful temples, walk through the local streets and markets, enjoy some Thai food, and end our day with a memorable ferry ride along the Chao Phraya River. 🌅⛴️

✨ The Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew
✨ Wat Pho – Temple of the Reclining Buddha

🚌 TRANSPORTATION
Bangkok has several convenient and affordable ways to get around, including buses, trains, taxis and river boats.
For this trip, we used local transportation and also enjoyed a ferry ride along the Chao Phraya River.
⛴️ CHAO PHRAYA RIVER RIDE
One of the highlights of our day was our journey back towards the airport. We took a longer ferry/river boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and enjoyed beautiful views of Wat Arun from the water, with the beautiful sunset in the background. 🌅
🍜 FOOD
Of course, no trip to Bangkok is complete without trying some Thai food! We explored the local area around the temples and stopped for lunch during our sightseeing.
A simple local Thai meal can cost approximately 60–150 THB per person, depending on the restaurant and what you order.
