Berwick Upon Tweed is located on the East Coast Mainline between Edinburgh and Newcastle The station sees services operated by several different train operators including: Cross Country Trains operate services through here to destinations including Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Bristol, Plymouth and Penzance these above services are mainly operated with Class 220 and Class 221 Diesel Multiple Units and the occasional Class 43 High Speed Train, Transpennine Express with services towards Edinburgh or Newcastle using at the most recent time of filming mainly Class 802 Diesel Electric Multiple Units. LNER with services towards Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, York, Doncaster, Peterborough and London Kings Cross using at the most recent time of filming Class 800-802 Diesel Electric Multiple Units. These services in the past were operated with Class 225 High Speed Trains and Class 43 High Speed Trains. The station is managed by LNER
