The Rise and Fall of Philadelphia's Forgotten Summer Capital: Cape May

Thomas Bennett uncovers what America was never supposed to know. The retreat where presidents and billionaires meet in the woods every summer. The island where the richest men in America locked themselves away from everyone else. The luxury resort hiding a bunker for Congress under its lawn. The Philadelphia families who ran a city from behind closed doors. The fortunes that were made in the dark and buried the same way. Every episode is built from the record: court documents, newspaper archives, private letters, and the period photographs nobody was meant to see. Who was inside, what they knew, and what it cost everyone outside. Calm narration over real archival photographs. No reenactments, no hype. The story is the secret and the cover-up, told the way it actually happened. New documentaries every week.
