"Let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” The Book of Hebrews, which was written around 68 AD, is also known as the Leviticus of the New Testament. This book, while dealing with the Old Testament law in order to prove the excellence of Jesus' beautiful character and holy divinity, refers to the sacrificial system and sacrifices, and the office of the high priest to indicate that these are the antitype of Jesus Christ. As you read through the Book of Hebrews, which takes 52 minutes, may the Lord grant you with the precious gift of faith.
