6 walls, 3 extreme tests. Behind every wall lives a PIX. Lava, strong acid and -40°C wind take turns trying to get through, and every leg gives points: 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1. Steel, wax, salt, zinc, aluminum and magnesium. The toughest metal wins everything... right? Pick your champion before the last leg! 0:00 Intro 0:10 Leg 1 · Lava 0:36 Leg 2 · Acid 1:16 Leg 3 · Arctic 1:49 Final standings and champion How it works: Lava leg: a pixel heat simulation with each material's real heat conductivity, heat capacity, melting point and latent heat, in 1150°C lava. Times are simulation seconds. Acid leg: the same amount of strong hydrochloric acid pours on every wall. Each drop can only eat as much wall as its chemistry allows: zinc, aluminum, iron and magnesium react and give off hydrogen, salt dissolves up to its solubility, wax doesn't react. Reaction speed is assumed fast for every metal, so oxide layers are not modeled, and only the order is shown. Arctic leg: exact heat conduction through a 10 cm wall in real units, -40°C wind outside and a room heated to 20°C inside. A wall is out when frost forms on its inside surface. Shown as a 300× time-lapse. Scoring: 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 points per leg. With flat 6 to 1 points steel and wax would tie on 15, and wax would still win with 2 leg wins against 1. Simplified simulation made with code, no AI video. Real-world times would differ. Subscribe for a new match every day!
