Choreographer Reel

I know, your reel shouldn't be over 1 minute long but there's no way I can condense my entire life into that amount of time. This is only a portion of pieces I've created and I love all of them because they highlight different life chapters. Different parts of my life that have been transposed into quick pieces on stage that audiences will either relate to, be confused by, hate or love. That's for them. The creation is for me. Once I give it to my dancers to live in, they add themselves to it, also. I've been fortunate to work with and set pieces on so many beautiful humans. Many aren't even seen here. From the studio-teaching space for maybe one hour, to the rehearsal process of maybe 10 weeks or more...l'm grateful for it all. I'm mostly grateful for my mom who would watch every time I said I made a dance and had her watch in the kitchen or living room while she was doing something important ❤️🙏🏽 #themixtechnique® #choreographer #dance #onlinestudio
