Mastodon has the most random riffs ever. It's like, they play in every key, every scale, etc. It was fun to make this challenge, but I once again ran into the tuning issue. Some of their best riffs are written in AGCF. Now I can easily tune up from C to D, but AGCF was impossible for such a challenge. So, no Iron Tusk, sorry guys. Due to the many odd time signatures, I had to shorten or change certain sections.
Which band is next?
More notes:
-I felt like creating extra challenges. For example, I Am Ahab at 1:34 has those pull-off moments, but they don't come right after each other.
-I used 3 songs twice!
-Your Ghost Again sounds very similar to Goblin by Opeth to me. Exact same notes so.. yeah.
-After 3 minutes of playing, the Pain with an Anchor riff is quite difficult to play in my opinion.
-The ending of Seabeast felt like the perfect way to end this madness.
