Text: 2 Corinthians 8:1–15 Generosity is something in which Christians can grow. Two particular expressions of generosity. Regular giving - Faithfulness. Special giving - Responsiveness. THREE TRUTHS TO CONSIDER: 1. GROWING IN GENEROSITY MEANS GIVING FAITHFULLY FROM WHAT GOD PROVIDES 2. GROWING IN GENEROSITY MEANS GIVING RESPONSIVELY TO THE NEEDS GOD REVEALS 3. GROWING IN GENEROSITY MEANS GIVING GRACEFULLY AS CHRIST HAS GIVEN TO US Conclusion: What does it mean to grow in generosity? First: Growing in generosity means giving faithfully from what God provides. Second: Growing in generosity means giving responsively to the needs God reveals.
