Indonesia - A tour on the island of Sumba

The cultural life of Sumba, a hot, dry island south of Komodo and west Flores is reflected in spectacular rituals, huge megalithic tombs, unusual sharp houses and gorgeous ikats. Sumba has beautiful beaches and rocky highlands which offers nice views but the main attraction of Sumba is still the traditional culture. Much is lost already in this fast changing era. But if you travel to Sumba you can still manage to visit - as you will see in the video - quite some really traditional villages.
