Inside China’s Hyper-Realistic Robot Factory

Inside a humanoid robot factory in Dalian, China, 270 people work among bodies still being built. At EX Robots, silicone skin is fitted over mechanisms, expressions are tuned channel by channel, and real people can be scanned and copied into robotic doubles. Some robots are made to resemble someone who already exists; others begin with no original at all.
