I just had to try these two together. Timmy Overdrive by Paul Cochrane is one of the most loved overdrive pedals on the effects pedal market. Recently, we saw the release of the Paul Cochrane Timmy V3 15th Anniversary and, shortly after, MXR announced the CSP027 Timmy from the MXR Custom Shop at NAMM 2020. The MXR is based off of the Timmy V2 and is a faithful recreation in a compact enclosure. If you love the V2, you'll love the MXR. The Timmy V3 has some pretty noticeable changes. The switch on the face is now a high gain/low gain switch while the clipping selector is now on an interior dispswitch. Paul also returned to the 1458 Opamp instead of the 4559 used in the other models. Both pedals have non-reversed Bass & Treble pots. That's gonna be a tough habit to break.
