2-hour Pomodoro timer (25/5) for studying and deep work, with chill deep house focus music and the quiet of a golden hour garage.
Press play, pick one task and work with me until the bell.
About this session
Today's workspace is a quiet garage loft of board-formed concrete and warm oak shelves, with a silver 1970s coupe resting in the light. Late afternoon, low warm sunlight in long diagonal beams with visible floating dust, dappled shadows of tree leaves on the back wall. Put on your headphones, let the timer keep the time and give your full attention to one thing.
In this session
• Timer: four 25-minute focus blocks with 5-minute breaks, and a soft bell at every change
• Music: original chill deep house at 108 BPM, no vocals and no drops
• Ambience: a soft breeze in the trees, kept low under the music
• Ending: the last break plays the two slowest tracks of the album, a calm way to close the session
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique, created by Francesco Cirillo, splits work into focused intervals separated by short breaks. Each interval is one pomodoro: you work on a single task with no interruptions, then take a real break. This session runs four pomodoros of 25 minutes with 5-minute breaks. The timer on screen counts down every block and a soft bell marks each change, so you never need to watch the clock.
How to use this session
1. Before you press play, silence your phone, close every tab you don't need and write down the one task for this session.
2. Read the timer: the label says FOCUS or BREAK, the ring empties as time passes and the pill below shows where you are (Block 1 of 4, Next · Block 2, Session complete).
3. Listen for the bells: a lower bell starts each break, a rising bell brings you back to work and a three-note bell marks the final break.
4. During breaks, stand up, drink water and look away from the screen. Leave your phone where it is.
5. When you finish, write in the comments what you got done. It keeps you accountable for the next session.
Why this music helps you focus
Every track is original chill deep house at a steady 108 BPM, with no vocals, no build-ups and no drops. Lyrics compete with reading and writing, and sudden changes pull your attention away, so the music keeps the same calm energy from start to finish. Underneath, a soft breeze in the trees covers background noise without asking for attention.
Good for
Studying, exam prep, homework, coding, writing, reading, design work, research and any task that needs your full attention.
