GWR full journey Falmouth Docks to Truro 21/08/2026

Journey onboard 150238 as the 2T80 1415 Falmouth Docks to Truro calling at Falmouth Town (1417 to 1418), Penmere (1420 to 1421), Penryn (1425 to 1428), Perranwell (1435) and Truro (1443). 150238 was one of the last ever 150s to have the FGW blue livery with pink doors and dynamic lines interior, along with 150219, before both units were refurbished at some point within the last year or so, hence the quality of the speakers. And yes I did do Truro to Falmouth Docks on the Maritime line, although that was back in October 2023. Normally the wait at Penryn is to allow for another train to pass, but that was cancelled because that's what happens when they try to send 175s to Falmouth! 150238 is technically a 165/166 in disguise, as Janine Cooper Marshall didn't say "This is Truro, the final stop on our journey" once the doors opened at Truro, probably because the driver removed the Master Key when leaving the cab, and on the 165s and 166s, the automated announcements cut off or do not play once the driver removes the Master Key, whether they're getting out of the cab, or changing cabs at stations such as Bristol Temple Meads, Exeter St Davids and Gloucester, where the train reverses. 0:00 - Falmouth Docks 1:20 - Doors closing 1:35 - Falmouth Docks departure 2:04 - Approaching Falmouth Town 3:23 - Falmouth Town arrival 4:12 - Doors closing 4:26 - Falmouth Town departure 5:51 - Approaching Penmere 6:37 - Penmere arrival 7:17 - Doors closing 7:30 - Penmere departure 10:17 - Approaching Penryn 11:15 - Penryn arrival 14:01 - Doors closing 14:17 - Penryn departure 19:48 - Approaching Perranwell 20:30 - Perranwell arrival 20:52 - Doors closing 21:03 - Perranwell departure 26:50 - Approaching Truro, the final stop on our journey 28:11 - Truro arrival
