Przejazd kolei wąskotorowej w Mysłowicach-Wesołej z terenu kopalni KWK Wesoła do peryferyjnego szybu Wacław. Do niedawna było to jedno z ostatnich w Polsce połączeń wąskotorowych łączących dwie części zakładu górniczego, którego trasa przebiegała poza głównym terenem kopalni. To fragment historii kolei przemysłowej i górnictwa w Mysłowicach. 👉 Social media: ► FACEBOOK:   / maciejmutwilphotography   ► INSTAGRAM:   / breathofindustry   ► BLOG: http://maciejmutwil.blogspot.com/ #kolejwąskotorowa #wąskotorówka #Mysłowice #KWKWesoła #SzybWacław #kolejprzemysłowa #górnictwo #Śląsk #industrial #historiaprzemysłu #transportgórniczy #railway #industrialrailway #kopalnia 🇬🇧 Historic Narrow-Gauge Railway Run – Wesoła Mine to Wacław Shaft | Mysłowice 2016 (line no longer exists) A narrow-gauge railway run in Mysłowice-Wesoła from the KWK Wesoła coal mine site to the peripheral Wacław shaft. The recording from 6 December 2016 documents a section of infrastructure that today has become historical. Until recently, this was one of the last narrow-gauge connections in Poland linking two parts of a mining plant, with the route running outside the main mining site. A year earlier, a similar solution was still in operation at the KWK Kazimierz-Juliusz mine in Sosnowiec. Today, such connections no longer exist either in Mysłowice or in Sosnowiec. The Wesoła mine continues its mining operations; however, several years ago the track connecting the main plant with the peripheral Wacław shaft was dismantled. Therefore, the footage presents the final period of operation of this industrial narrow-gauge line. Today, the material has documentary value – it shows the industrial infrastructure of Upper Silesia that has disappeared from the regional landscape. It is a fragment of the history of industrial railways and mining in Mysłowice.
